Hinged joint fence
Hinged joint fence complies with DSTU EN 10223-5:2001. Steel wire and wire products for fences. Part 6. Steel wire woven hinged joint and knotted mesh fencing. Specifications (EN 10223-5:1998, IDT).
Hinged joint mesh is a state-of-the-art fencing which is the most cost-efficient nowadays in comparison with any other type of fenecs presented on the maket! The advantage of hinged joint fence is the lowest cost per installed meter of fencing! The price of the mesh is calculated based on the cost of a linear meter of mesh.
Hinged joint fence is galvanized fence with a cell of variable height (the cell size increases from the bottom edge to the top). Such cell arrangement and securely fixed hinged joint help to prevent from penetrating even small animals (the cell at the bottom is 50 mm).

Due to the integrity of the longitudinal wires bearing the main load under mechanical stress, the mesh has high tensile strength.
Another feature of the hinged joint mesh is that a wire of a larger diameter is woven along the edges.
That is why it is more convenient for you to install it. Besides, the fence is more durable and stable.
Hinged joint mesh is used for fencing large areas, roads and railways, orchards, vineyards, livestock farms, forestry areas, private areas and lands.
Hinged joint mesh is made out of galvanized wire. The zinc coating can be standard (60-90 g/m2) or heavy (200 g/m2). Heavy galvanized mesh is usually used for fencing in severe weather conditions or aggressive environments.
The standard roll length is usually 50 linear meters, but it can be 100 linear meters (rarely). Hinged joint mesh is sold only in whole rolls.

Fencing installation
Due to the high tensile strength and light weight, you can install hinged joint fence with a distance from 8 to 12 m between supports; if animals are kept semi-free, it is recommended to reduce the distance to 4 m. One of the advantages of hinged joint mesh is the installation length of the roll. The distance between supports can be increased if you stretch horizontal wires tightly. Thus, it requires less time to install the fence and the overall cost of fencing is lower.
If you need supports, you can use both wooden and steel ones. The horizontal mesh is mounted to wooden supports with a V-shaped nail.
If you are not satisfied with the service life of wooden supports, you can use steel supports made out from round or profile pipes. The pipe can be manufactured from galvanized steel.
The wire is mounted to steel supports with the help of self-tapping screws (two screws per wire). If you want your fence to be more stable and hard, you can mount the wire to supports using clamping strips, ties, special clamps, etc.
Quality
Hinged joint fence manufactured at Uniplast always complies with DSTU EN 10223-5:2001. Steel wire and wire products for fences. Part 5. Steel wire woven hinged joint and knotted mesh fencing. Specifications (EN 10223-5:1998, IDT).

Loading
Hinged joint mesh is supplied on pallets.
On a standard Euro-pallet (800х1000 mm) we can supply 20 rolls of mesh (wire diameter 2,0/1,6/1,6) or 12 rolls of mesh (wire diameter 2,5/2,0/2,0).
We can deliver from 800 to 1200 rolls (depending on a roll height) in a standard truck (92 m3). The number of hinged joint fence rolls of L size can be 1000-1200 and rolls of M size – 800-1000.
Packing
We can pack rolls of hinged joint mesh in an individual packing at the request of our customers (additionally paid):
in a stretch film (rolls are packed in an automatic packing line); look at photos below.
in corrugated boxes (if the order is 1000 rolls and more).
